Ian was born in Sydney, and started learning the piano because he couldn't sit still! He now holds his Licentiate in Piano, a prestigious award given to very high achieving pianists. He loves to make music with others, and in his spare time you can find him jamming with local community orchestras as a cellist, scuba diving or playing competitive badminton.
