David Koay is a Malaysian pianist who lived in UK and Hong Kong before settling down with his family in Melbourne. He is passionate about piano playing and loves to challenge himself with virtuosic pieces. He also enjoys improvising and transcribing his favorite songs on the piano by ear, with some of his piano arrangements featured in a Hong Kong movie. He loves engaging with students’ interests by writing music that students can play and enjoy. He is a fan of extremely spicy food and loves driving!
