Andrew Byrne

Andrew is a classically-trained composer interested in new music and contemporary styles. He has actively explored these genres through his own writing and performances, as well as organising music festivals in New York and abroad. He holds doctoral degrees in music and enjoys teaching jazz harmony, improv, theory, music history and aural studies. He's very happy to settle back down in his home town of Melbourne to share his experiences with a new generation of music makers.
