German was born in Cali Colombia, the capital of salsa where everyone learns how do dance from a very young age! He learnt guitar, voice and piano as a student, also undertaking a classical music degree at Universidad del Valle. Although classically trained, German maintains an ongoing interest in learning new genres and musical styles, and believes that you can always continue learning from the world of art, which he does - every day!
