Abel began his classical training at the age of 7 and achieved Grade 8 piano at age 14. During high school, Abel dabbled in other instruments such as the violin, drums and percussion and joined many different school bands, notably, the rock and jazz bands where he found a new passion for contemporary and jazz piano as well as music technology and composition. Abel also really enjoys teaching students about the joys of music and always strives to find the best ways to engage his students.
